Law 10/2001, of 13 July, archives and records management, aims to promote the management and ensure the preservation of documents Catalonia, both public and private, according to their values, to put it at the service of the general interest; establish the rights and obligations of those who are the owners, and citizens in relation to such information, and regular file system of Catalonia.
